We need to remember that “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand” Matt. 12:25 (ESV). Let us pray for unity, for healing, and for the ability to work together for the common good in our country and in our state.
Let us remember to thank Jesus that we live in a country where we are still free to choose our leaders. Let us praise God and give thanks for all the men and women who have offered their service to our country. Let us praise God because He is good, and He sits on the Throne. Let us thank and praise God that America is a country that respects the rule of law, and may nothing cause her to depart from that road.
Rom. 13:1 “There is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God”
Rom. 13:11-12 “It is time for you to awaken from your sleep. The night is almost gone and the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light”.
Pray for Godly people to be interviewed and selected in the transition process; that righteous people will be chosen to both guide the process and be appointed for roles of leadership …those gifted with His Spirit, wisdom, character, discernment, forbearance and insight.
