In 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt declared National Bible Week to encourage Americans to read the Bible as a source of hope and encouragement. Since then, every President has declared the week of Thanksgiving as National Bible Week.
This week, Congressman Doug Lamborn and several Congressional Prayer Caucus members hosted a Special Order commemorating National Bible Week, affirming our Judeo-Christian heritage and the Bible’s impact on the American way of life.
